June And Aug Felting Classes and Work Day

Sat June 1  Folding ,Slashing, Binding and Forming 3-d Felt  10 – 5

Once you get your felt pretty hard you can form it like clay. We will layer and tie up felt then cut it to make holes and flutes, pinch , twist and bubble the wool to make surface on scarves , vessels and wall pieces. All levels welcome 100.oo

Sun June 2 Vessels And Bags 10 – 5

We will work on double walled vessels and bags , learn how to incorporate organza and silk into your pieces and talk about making felt hardware .  100.00

Or you can felt all weekend , Sat and Sunday June 1 and 2 and get  discounted  to 180.00

These classes are designed to mix my advanced, intermediate and beginning students together so you can see the exciting work being done at all levels.

An unusual event- a felting workday

Sat June 8 Get  Some Work Done !   80.00

Come in to deepcolor and felt all day with me by your side contemplating, aiding and looking usefully at your work. No new skills will be taught, this is a day to develop your own work ! Felt, Felt !

And one more class

Sat Aug 24  Blue   Felt 10 – 5

This class will explore using blue in your felt as an accent and focus, how to use indigo on your felt and how to express more feeling with your color work. Yes , we will have an indigo pot if you would like to try it !  100.oo
